MUNCIE Local residents can free law advice Philadelphia get free legal help from an attorney with Indiana Legal Services 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Carnegie Library, 301 E. Jackson St. This will be last client outreach event in Muncie in 2015.
No appointment is necessary.
To be eligible for the service, a person must have a household income less than 125 percent of the federal poverty income level, which would be $14,713 or less for a one-person household, or $30,313 for a four-person household. Clients must be U.S. citizens or documented immigrants, except in certain limited circumstances.
ILS is a nonprofit organization that provides free legal counsel to Hoosier seniors, low-income persons and victims of domestic violence on civil legal issues.
Senior citizens who are 60 or older can talk to an attorney with the ILS Senior Law Project 10 a.m.-4 free legal advice Philadelphia p.m. Feb. 4 at the Muncie Senior Center, 2517 ask a lawyer online free Philadelphia W. Eighth St. For an appointment, call 765-289-0844.
